Many people have close ties to these islands and so these cushions make very attractive and personal gifts. All are made to order and can be further personalised to suit the occasion. For the main collection, I have tried to maintain consistency in style so that they look good either alone or in groups.
To date, I have completed cushions for Arran, Bute, Cumbrae, Coll, Cara, Gigha, Tiree, Kerrera, Mull, Islay, Skye, South Uist, St.Kilda, Barra, Outer Hebrides and many more. Coastline sections include Ardnamurchan, Loch Fyne, Mull of Kintyre to Firth of Lorne and the Rhins of Galloway.

Born into a family of naval architects, I know a fair amount about boats and I understand which components of the line drawing are important to keep and which can be omitted.
Personalisation can be by sail numbers and/or yacht names. I am fortunate in that I have access to the Mylne archives and this has been been invaluable in digitising some Mylne designs for embroidery. For other classes, owners generally provide me with the appropriate images from which to work.
